Tom is an accomplished and recognized leader in Executive Search, with a consistent track record, that has delivered a level of production amongst the top 1% of his peers. He has over 15 years of experience leading organizations and building relationships through hard work, integrity, and delivering upon promises.
With over a decade of Executive Search experience, Tom has built organizations of all sizes and needs - from individual-contributing contingency work for seed-funded start-ups, to retained searches for global leaders with annual sales in excess of two billion dollars.
Tom’s renewable energy experience is not limited to search. He began marketing, and was an early advocate of a rooftop-mounted wind-powered generator for residential and commercial markets, which included a battery storage system and reverse meter capable of delivering excess power back to the grid. This experience led to additional insights associated with local and national laws and tax incentives, as well as further insight into the inherent complications of our archaic energy grid.
Of note is his extensive experience within the network communications industry, having built some of the most successful companies, with equipment utilized by the Service Provider (Wireless, Wireline and Cable) and Utility markets. He understands the affects of deregulation, and he has deep, hands-on technical experience with Internet Protocol, which enables a unique understanding of IP-based smart grid technologies.
Tom’s network communications experience also enables him to help those organizations that bridge the gap between technology and energy, and allows an understanding of candidate pools that have the highest level of transferrable skills. This is sometimes vital in the renewable energy market, where growth typically exceeds the finite amount of candidates with direct renewable energy experience.
Tom is passionate about renewable energy and executive search, and is most thankful for his family. He lives in CT with his wife, Suzanne, founder of a sustainable studio for kids, where classes are designed to teach children that they can thrive while putting less strain on our global environment. They have 3 children, ages 16, 11 and 8, a caique parrot and 3 chickens.
