Mary Rhomberg Peloquin, Managing Partner


Mary brings to  Renewable Search Group fifteen years of agency and corporate staffing management. Additionally she has provided both executive and contract recruiting expertise to numerous companies with a focus on Research and Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing-Sales and successfully placing candidates at multiple career levels within diverse organizations.


Prior to joining she acted as Corporate Human Resources Staffing Manager at OptiSolar, Inc. and recruited for this PV-thin film, vertically integrated solar renewable energy "green" startup company. While in this role she demonstrated a consistent ability to deliver the highest level of qualified employees through her creative and knowledgeable approach to talent acquisition. She is a recognized and proven team leader in sourcing, recruitment selection and retention, training, organizational development, complex project management and creative contract negotiations. Her partial client list has included; Oracle, Chevron, Shell Oil Company, McKesson Corporation, in addition to several “green” startups and mid-size manufacturing and technology companies.


Mary is very committed to giving back to the community and is an active volunteer with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs where she is an HR Employment Department and Service Specialist for the Veterans at the VA Medical Clinic. Her volunteer activities have included; working with Experience Unlimited (EUCCC) as a Trainer and Coach of Career Search Workshops, Habitat for Humanity as Chair Sponsorship Fundraising and Home Team Builder, Berkeley Food & Housing Project, organizing Food Drives, Grid Alternatives as a Green Industry representative and CERT-Community Emergency Response Team as a Certified Response Leader.


A graduate of the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL with a Bachelor of Arts in English, minor Psychology, she has also attended CA State University-East Bay continuing her education in Human Resource Management. She has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1984 and has a twenty-three year old son who recently studied abroad at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic and graduated with a BA in Political Science from California State University in Chico. He is currently working in Chicago, IL for City Year – a nonprofit AmeriCorps organization whose primary goal is to build democracy through citizen service, civic engagement, leadership development, and social entrepreneurship.
